Threaded Rod Hex

I have a homemade Hydrogen Generator I have built, And i am wondering what the best fuel mixture would be?
I have a 1995 Ford Ranger 4 cyl 5-speed manual single cab Pickup Truck Eco 19 city/23 highway. I have built a Hydrogen Generator out of an 1 quart mason jar, in the mason jar i have 2 stainless steel1/4 -20 all thread rods with 1 1/2 in stainless washers and hex nut alternating inbetween continuing to within 1 inch of the lip of the jar. As well as a plastic sleeve in between them to keep continuity down to 9 amps. along with a spout and hose running to my air hose before the carubrater. All of which is connected to my air conditioning so it runs when the truck is on.
As far as mixture goes i heard 20:1 ratio is best
20 ounces of water to 1 ounce baking soda (2 1/2 cups to 2 tbsp baking soda)
I have seen a little difference as to power but not much to gas mileage i was wondering if anyone else had some tips if needed i can post pictures up tomorrow if needed to help along. I am 16 years old this was easy to build and it works i just need help perfecting my generator.
hey dafox913, I have good news and bad news. The bad news is The electrolizer you have built probably woln’t produce enough hho (Disassociated H2O) to see a noticeable difference in mileage esspecialy in an EFI vehicle. I have a large PVC unit I am finishing now and would recommend you switch to non temperature sensitvive plastic construction. It is hard to get decent hho production without a PWM a pulse wave modulator… You canget them on ebay and HHo production is improved by pulsing the DC current through you plates. Also YOU NEED A BUBBLER!!! If you do not have one between your electrolizer and the truck intake, don’t use it again until you have one. The bubbler acts as flame arrestor and prevents the electrolizer from turning into a mini HHO bomb should there be a backfire. Talkng about the motor now, depending on how much HHO/gas-air mixture the timming may need to be retarded, you’ll just have to experiment with that one to come up with the correct setting. And also you need to trick the sensors into running the motor a little on the lean side. Google that one and you’ll find folks and web sites that can help with your specific vehicle.
The good news is this stuff does work, but it’s not as easy as other people make it out to be. There is nothing new or contraversial about splitting water into HHo gas and then using it to run motors. This Technology (if you could call it that) is old and well known. All you are trying to do is take the waste enrgy from the alternator and convert it into a combustable fuel which is the mixed with your gas/air mixture to decrease the amount of gasoline consumed per power stroke of each piston.
You are young so just be very carefull and make sure your parents know what your up to… Use youtube for research and ideas, there are people making hho motors, torches, water heaters and all kinds of cool stuff, check it out and once again be safe with this stuff…
