Where is the resistor between the Ignition Switch and the ignition coil on a 1978 Datsun B210?
My manual shows a resistor somewhere between the ignition switch and the ignition coil, but I can’t find it.
Where is the resistor?

It is there but can be in two ways. The first way is they use resistor wire which has resistance built into the wire length. The second way is that near the coil there is a white block with two terminals on either end, which puts the resistance to the positive coil terminal.
I work on all years of Datsun cars. The A12 or A13 engine in your car is a really good engine also.
