Electronic Door Lock
Jaguar XJS Door will not open?
I have a 1990 XJS, the right passenger door will not open. The electronic locks went crazy one day, fully by themselves, click click click…So when I removed the door panel to get to the rods which go to the lock…nothing happens. The key won’t open the door nor can I get it to open via the door panel.
Any suggestions? Has anyone had this problem before?

Either a short or the lock is bad. If yo cannot fix you may have to take to a body shop for repair. They remove and replace all the time.
